Title: men...... shoes or sandals
Post by: zombie on April 30, 2005, 02:00:00 PM
We know for men in the a la carte restaurants need long pants and a coller shirt....Hubby thinks if he wears his sandals they might not let him in, are they fine or does he need dress shoes ?
this way if he leaves his dress shoes home ...I can bring one more pair for myself    :D        :rof:

Hi Zombie,
Sandals are fine. It is usually much to warm for dress type shoes. Encourage hubby to relax. They'll let him into the party.

I am reply again as it seems to have disappeared   :(

 Zombie,
Sandals are fine for evening wear for both female and males. Tell dh to relax and enjoy Cuba.

I think sandals are fine, they just don't want you showing up in flip flops.  Pack that other pair of shoes girl.

Sandals will be fine.  The only place I've heard that you really need to dress up is the Sandals/Beaches chain.

Ouch...

 I would be Very Carefulll...

Haven't been there myself, but I have heard of Gentlemen being turned away, from the a la cartes, at the PP. for improper attire...

I wish Bellagio was here, as I'm positive, that he mentioned something like that!

The first year we went to Cuba I took 2 dress jackets and 2 pair of dress shoes.  That was the first and last time I brought either.

I would think that Jibacoa would be lax enough for that.  YVR would be able to shed better light on it.
