I hope he wears  L plates then.

He's no chance against Mojitomiss_cuba.  This would be the mismatch of the millennium.

That too, is a great deal Wendy (better, in fact...I'd take the MCSM over the Sol any day)

These prices are just killing me....

Now what was all that talk about a Girl's trip????

Ya'll know how I feel about that!  :b:

OMG...the fun this could be!

The best part for me, is I've just become re-acquainted with one of my best friends after a long time...I don't even have to ask if she'd be in, she lives for vacations!  This is very exciting!!

An all girls trip is a lot of FUN! When I was in MCSM in May it was me and 5 friends and we had a BLAST!

Depends on date for me ... November would be better (as I wrote in another thread).

I'd be in depending on the date. I'm out of vacation time for this year. It would have to be next year.

Same here.  I'm not out of vacation because I work freelance, but we have a very busy fall and I couldn't get away until the winter or the spring.  By then, we'll be so fed up with the winter, we'll be begging to get away!

me too...I've had 4 weeks off this year...so spring sounds great to me!

What about Laura T...where's her thumbs up for a girls week?    :7:

Laura T is right here with you!  Spring works best with my schedule -- just tell me when to be at the airport with a suitcase full of shoes and swimsuits.

That's great Shine!  The more, the merrier.  I wrote a post too that seems to have gotten lost...when Sunluvr mentioned Cayo Santa Maria it tweaked something in my brain about the spa at the Melia. By the spring, it should be done and we could indulge. It is going to be beautiful...

You guys need to organize this, I'm lost with all these posts.

Who is going where and when are you going?

You're right Heather, this will need to be more organized once the time comes closer.  I think for now the project is mostly the result of a spontaneous and general discussion about the potential fun factor of a girls week away in Cuba.  We are thinking about the spring but that's about the only planning done so far.  No dates or destinations have been isolated yet.

Well I could be in for a November trip and I could be in for an April trip (assuming its AFTER April 1-2 as that's our last weekend of racing).

Okay, I'll get the discussion going again by suggesting we try Sol Cayo Guillermo for our spring trip.

 Any other suggestions?

Absolutely beautiful place, too isolated though JMHO, I can remember both times we've been to Cayo Guillermo saying that as beautiful as it is, its nots the REAL Cuba.

I would think somewhere either Jibacoa (close to Havana AND Varadero) OR Holguin ...

Good going LauraT, let's get this one going again. I can't do anything until spring time and I would love to go to Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Coco or that area.  Having said that, I would be open to other places too.  I think we should keep our options open and head where we can get the best deal.

Why don't we start a separate thread for this discussion alone and try to get a sense of timing and people's area of preference?
