Officially, my week doesn't show up on sell-offs until next week BUT ... here are two that certainly are tempting:
Cameleon Jibacoa $597
Brisas Guardalavaca $597
-
Certainly worth considering Shine.
How much are the taxes though, around the $200 mark I assume?
-
Shine, those look like great deals... ;)
-
As Bob Barker would say... "Come on Down!"
I haven't been working all these insane hours for the good of the company!!!
:bubba:
-
Yes, taxes are around $200 ... DH and I talked last evening, we're going to wait until next week to see if anything else comes up ... he's leary to book CVJ without seeing further pics (not many out there) and being a "new" place ... he liked the idea of the Brisas, but had some concerns about the "bad" reviews (remember he's not a Cuba junky like me and reads too much into things).
Gambitt, you and he would get along great with THAT combo
;)
-
Shine those sound like great prices.
I've noticed that the week after March break is really cheap. I'm hoping that April comes down even further too.
Good luck with your search, what sell off sites do you check?
-
Well both show as gone now, but I'm hoping come next week, they'll re-appear or others in its place ... earlier in the week Marea del Portillo was going for $388 ! now its back up to $567 ...
I usually watch a few, but usually YTT ... then BelAir (as that's the agency close to us) ... they've both been equal these past few weeks.
-
Selloffvactions sent me an e-mail and Cameleon Jibacoa is $696 taxes included for March 18. :cuflag:
-
And you jump on that right..?
:D
-
sunburn, cvj is now sold out (on the sell off sites anyway) for march 18
On Friday it was showing up on YTT for 457+ and 467+ (friday the 17th and sat. the 18)
good deal, obviously people jumped on that one
-
Club Amigo Holguin for March 18th $397 on Your Travel Tickets.
Any last minute takers? :D
-
Dont forget the taxes though!!!!
I wonder which rooms you would finish up with if you booked it.
My friend rumlover from Scotland who posts on Cubafriends and who is a frequent visitor to this resort and returned last Saturday said:
Sadly I eventually had to blow my top on the first night to get my room changed, however, from the next day on, everything was great.
Despite her assurances and those of FredTracie I am still very wary about booking this resort. It would have to be very cheap to entice me to book to stay there.
-
Well DH just gave the "nod" to book CVJ if that's where I really want to go, its currently sitting at $597 ... now, I think to myself, do I just do it, or wait a few more days/next week? :th:
-
I'm still waiting - the prices for our week are still a little over $700. CVJ doesn't seem to be on the list for when we are going, although we would be interested too.
When are you planning to go, Shine?
-
April 7th or 8th
-
Shine;
You missed out the other week. I've just checked Sell Off's site and, as you say, it is sitting there at $597 plus $199 taxes for the dates you mentioned.
I'll wager that it will not drop. If you are happy with the resort I would definitely book it.
