Thank You Very Much for allowing me to post this information here
The Dubois Charitable foundation is a Not for Profit Charitable Foundation which provides much needed Medical Equipment as well as Clothing, Bedding, and Household goods to the peoples of Cuba.
With the blessing and cooperation of the Cuban Government, The Dubois Charitable Foundation loads containers of donated goods between the months of April and November out of a small warehouse just outside Woodstock Ontario. Donations in kind, as well as monetary ones, are accepted and welcome from Institutions, Businesses, and Individuals across Ontario , and beyond. The Foundation works with the Cuban government ministries at all levels, as well as other NGOs located in Cuba to expedite and ensure arrival and delivery of the materials sent. Since the majority of materials are sent directly to institutions (Hospitals, Clinics, Seniors’ homes, Schools and Orphanages) and Municipal councils, frequent visits to different parts of the island, are made by Foundation personnel, to assess general and specific needs. These trips also serve to visit locations where materials were previously sent, to spot check/audit the receipt, condition and utilization of the donated items. The charity demands access and accountability from all beneficiaries, and usually gets it. The Foundation also sends some medical equipment
and supplies to parts of Africa.
During times of great need (as following the extreme destruction caused in the last 2 years by Hurricanes) we have and will continue to send containers of building supplies and needed humanitarian aid to help the victims, rebuild their homes and lives.
The Foundation is a Canadian registered Charity and is able to provide Taxable Receipts for monetary donations.
We have volunteers in the Toronto, Oshawa, Brantford, Cambridge, Chatham, Halton, Goderich, Kitchener, St. Thomas and London areas who are available to pick up donations in kind.
Monetary Donations can be sent to:

As I stated above for the next while, the Foundation's emphasis will be helping orphanages in Cuba.
In March JD and MD went on a tour of orphanages in four provinces.
The aim was to identify what the orphanages had and what they ( the orphanage staffs and JD and MD) thought they lacked, and how best to help them out.
The following needs were identified :
TVs
Stereo equipment (radios, cassette, & CD players)
Clothing and footwear (including items suitable for teenagers)
sports equipment and supplies
toys (especially blocks, metal cars , colouring books and crayons, riding toys, and electronic games)
bicycles and tricycles
gardening tools
paint,and brushes
detergent
personal care products
sheets, pillows and pillow cases, and bedspreads
Cutlery and kitchen items of all kinds.
We also have a special request for 2 pressure cookers.
With al little luck we will get a container loaded ASAP and have room to take in your donations of these items...
