I think Millybess means Bobcaygeon Lanes (bowling alley with Fred y Tracie) but Catchacoma has got me stumped. Only thing I can think of is drinking enought to Catch-a-Coma as I pass out! :b:

Heather and Steve, Catchacoma (Steve, you are on the right track) is a beautiful lake in the Kawarthas, north of Buckhorn where we can accommodate several overnighters.
bellagio has previously used it as a B&B! :)

If we make it a weekend in the summer I'm sure that we'll get some out of town and maybe even out of province guests.
I have 3 types of mint growing in the garden already, and I know that John still have some cigars left. :D

I have access to a turntable that plays 45's - it has to be plugged into a stereo though.
There's also many many yard sales between now and then!!
I could probably get ahold of some different rums or beers if necessary. ;)

Ok, I'll cut it out with the age jokes and promise to make up for it if Zephie & I can come. I'll make up for it by making HIM sing for all of you!
It'll all depend on the date. I also am the event organizer of a boat cruise fundraiser in August for about 500 people.
Keep the date posted and we'll see what we can do to be there!
In the meantime, MoMiss and I are about to start the makings of some plans to meet up at the Bohemia for some much-deserved Mojito's :wi:
Got a date in mind yet Wendy? Hopefully not the 2-4 weekend - my High School Reunion in St. Catharines! Let me know when you're free!

Unfortunately one of Zephie's long-time music friends passed away and so the funeral is this weekend. I doubt he's feeling up to partying with us!
Ok, so I'm thinking Friday the 19th - we don't leave until Saturday morning. Or Saturday the 27th. But MoMiss I'm confused by the date you gave. Friday is the 26th. So are you not available on Friday or on the 27th...see where I'm going with this? ;)
And Estevan, of course we'll let you know! And don't think I've forgotten about the dinner I promised you! We can discuss that night. OK?

I've been away for a couple of days and have just found this thread.

Ok here's how I understand this.
Camping weekend is August Long weekend which according to my calendar is Aug 5, 6, & 7.
The 27th date that Charmaniac and Mojitomiss are talking about is a meeting at the Bohemia Havana for a Mojito party at 8 pm.
You just have to learn to understand Wendita-speak. Harder than Spanish. :rof: :rof:

Steve's correct. Charmaine and I hijacked the Cuba Night thread to make plans to go to the BH one night this month for mojitos and we ended up finalizing our plans on this thread.
May 27th at the BH is a totally separate animal than CN. Anyone wishing to join us, we will be having dinner/drinks at the BH on May 27 around 8ish.

Well guys, I was honestly not thinking of an "official" cuba nite until September again. However I'm more than happy to get together with folks anytime for unofficial gatherings like the ladies have planned for May 27th. My personal life is sort of way out of wack right now so that's why I though of waiting till Sept.

totally understand how real life gets in the way of planning..
Whenever it happens to be or other events, we will try to attend...
My shift is not conducive to going anywhere after I get off..as I get out at 7:30 pm. Sat-Wed. Things might change as our casino is changing over to ticket in, ticket out, and using paper receipts instead of coin. We have had no information as to how this will affect our jobs( hopefully will still have one!)...
Just voted the union in, so we are in for an interesting summer! *G*

I was hoping to make it to Toronto finally this summer, and the only dates that work so far are weekdays at the beginning of August.
I was wondering how keen anyone would be to get together on a weeknight, say the 2nd or 3rd of August? I realize the weekend will then be a long weekend with most going away, so maybe a week night would work?
