Just thought I would like to start a new thread to wish Heather and John a wonderful time at Royal Hideaway.
This resort is set fair to knock the PRDO off it's No. 1 spot. By all accounts you can sit on the beach and a waiter will bring you lunch and drinks!!
I feel sure this hotel will spoil you for anything else Cuba has to offer and at the prices it is now going for I can't understand why the occupancy rate isn't higher. I'd be booking it if I lived in COTU I can tell you that.
Please take as many photos as you can and I'll look forward to 'live' postings from the resort. If you don't eulogise about this place on your return, well I'm a Dutchman.

Have a fabulous time. We want to know all when you return. In addition to your review of the hotel, I would like to know your thoughts on the airport and the trip from the airport to the resort. Take care.

Well John, it happens to the best of us. Imagine how stupid I felt when I picked up the wrong suitcase at Calgary Airport!!!

Still haven't finished packing my bags yet, but I never close it up until 10 minutes before we leave.

John, I'm almost positive, that you forgot to pack your required "Dive Instructor" in your dive bag! I can be packed in 4.5 minutes!

Thanx for the good wishes, got some new tips to try for the underwater photography so hopefully I'll have some good pictures to show. At least I won't have to fight the current to get the Blennies and Hamlets up close this time.

I just checked the flight board and our flight is still leaving on time.
Westjet flight 6018 departing yyz at 15:13 terminal 3.

We're being picked up at 11:30, should be at the airport around 12, and then john will be back home around 12:30 to pick up his suitcase :rof: :rof:

This time next week I'll be airborne, heading out for Holguin. Not to such a plush resort as yours though. I do envy you really.

We'll post tonight when we arrive. Either from the laptop if the room has internet as advertised, or we will find the lobby computer.
Wendy, I don't imagine I'll find many Brits at this resort, but I'll do my best to be the welcoming party if they do arrive. :D
It's very cloudy outside here too, which makes me feel better about leaving. :cool:
Dogs are in the kennels, my suitcase is closed up and it weighs 40 lbs. John has his packed, and it is sitting by the door, in exactly the same spot it was in the last time. :rof:

Had hoped to hear from them but obviously they must have been too busy unpacking, wining and dining, etc.
I'm sure they'll be posting later on today. I'm actually very keen to read their first impressions of Paradise.
