Two weeks in the Playa Pesquero :b: :b:

Congrats on booking the Pesquero Lizzy!!
It's a great resort, with tons to do there.
-
Nice one you will love it there, we have only seen the PP from the outside it looks like a amazing resort and the beach is great
-
Thanks peeps ;) we were torn between there and the PCV but the PP was our first choice and we decided to stick with that .
For the UK peeps we booked it with First Choice =the price has been about the same since last year -we were happy with them last year so stuck with them ( they were £400 cheaper than Airtours ) and the flights are direct ..I believe some Thomas Cook flights divert to Varadero on the homebound flight and I couldn't be doing with that .
Sooo tell all about the PP and the surrounding area what to do and what not to :b:

I know it's a long way away, but it nice to have something to look forward too. I hope you have a great Vacation ;)

Hi ...Hubby & I stayed at the PP in Nov 2005 and LOVED it...huge place but it was fantastic!
Beer Garden "munchies" were the best...

Went to the Playa Pesquero last year. It was my first time to Cuba and we loved it. The food was very very good. The beach was amazing the colours of the ocean are unbelieveable. Pool was lovely. Loved the Beer garden for the beer of course but also the lovely snacks they did and also loved the icecream parlour directly opposite. Brilliant hotel, with plenty of activities arranged each day such as morning bike rides, snorkeling trips, nature walks. Something different each morning as well as all the usual hotel things like volley ball, water polo etc. Only wished we hadn't been so lazy and had got more involved. I spent most of my time working out where and what I would have for my next meal!!! Bliss.

Isn't that what you are supposed to do on vacation? As everyone in the world knows, I just got back from PP for my nephew's wedding. Other than getting lost all the time, the place was fantastic. A lunch at the restaurant just across from the Tratoria is a must, the julienne chicken is to die for. Come to think of it JJay, I spent most of my time figuring out where my next drink and meal were going to be. Good thing was with so many people on with us, it was no trouble finding someone to go with.
