Title: Scuba in Cuba
Post by: JohnnyCastaway on April 23, 2005, 11:27:00 PM
I've only had one dive in Cuba, a reef dive at 80-90' which was pretty good, great visibility (I could see the boat on the surface when I was on the floor, but no details) and nice marine life.  I'm hoping to get some more dives in on the next trip and looking to get some info.  I've heard about the the Russian destroyer that was sunk off Varadero (near the light house?) which I'd love to do.  Anyone done it? Thoughts? Reviews?  (we'll setup a section for diving reviews in our trip reviews as well)

 Thanx!

I haven't dove near Veradero, but if anyone has any questions about diving in and around Holguin, I'm your man to ask.

 I just love Cuba diving

Well, once we get the dates worked out for the Holguin trip, you and I will have to get together and get our diving organised, as I know they have package deals avaiable at the dive shop for groups of divers.
