On a kinda related note, Antarctic, not diving, we watched the movie ' March of the Penguins ' and were not disappointed.
Oh it is related, the penguins dive.
 Watch the movie.

Wow... that was really interesting!!!
Reminds me of diving in Lake Louise (3-days after the ice went out.. May 24) We were in wet suits, the water was about 34-F and you didn't move your head/neck as the drips were very unpleasant!!! We dove for about 30min. and found old bottles and shoes that the staff would throw at the end of the summer! Anyway the visibility was amazing about 80-100ft, so we decided to do a deeper dive the following week as the weather was warming. We got suited up and were going to about 80' but when we started down, you couldn't see your hand in front of your mask... Silt from the glaciers...Soooo the dive season for Lake Louise was litterally Days!(We were photographed by more Japanese tourists than you could imagine!)

Anyway... It would be Amazing to dive in Antarctica...Go for it Gambitt!!

            Cheers....Fred
