It does sound good Warren I must admit.
Pity though I could have thought of a better aircraft to sink than that one, couldn't you???
A certain Boeing 767 - 200 series springs to mind!!!!

well that would be very cool to dive. Unfortunately, BC is on the other side of Canada for us.
I've had dives on a small Cessna (sunk for the filming of one of the Jaws movies in the Bahama's) and a drug smuggling plane (at least half of it was still intact) in Jamaica. A 737 would be a hell of a dive. :D

Now that's a dive I would love to do...
I'm wondering how "intact" the cockpit is... Now that would be cool to have your buddy take a photo from outside while you are in the pilot's seat, with all your dive gear on!
"What do you mean the altimeter is reading in the Negative?!?!"
Johnny, I do have an Aunt in BC who is dying for me to visit....

I have only ever dived one plane wreck, can't remember what model this was, but it was quite modern.

it's just a 14 hour hop from here!!!!
there are a number of frigates and other boats that have been sunk on the b.c. coast as part of the artificial reef
my wife and i may try to dive the coast sometime soon [maybe this summer] but it is a lot of gear to take when we are on vacation visiting family. [drysuits and weight included] in a minivan with camping gear adds up to a full load!!!!
