What is Havana Feelings
all about?

It is traditional Cuban Food with most of the recipes based on the colonial style of Cuban cuisine.
It is Cuban Cocktails, such as the Mojito, Mulata, Cuba Bella, Cubanito & more all prepared with original Cuban rum.
It is a place where you can simply enjoy an authentic cup of Cuban coffee while reading an old 1950’s Cuban magazine or looking at the art we have for sale on our walls.
It is a place to experience the warm feelings of colonial and comtempory Havana right here in Toronto.

Thanks Heather...I've heard about this place for quite some time, just never found the time to make my way there. Anyone been & can report back on it?
-
We're going on Saturday night so I'll report back.
Anybody else up for a cerveza or a mojito?
-
Since I can't go to Curacao, or to Cozumel; This is my next best option.
Let me know the where's and when's and I'm there!

No passport required!!! :D
Just bring your dancing shoes. :dan: :dan:

We have our weekends all mixed up Heather. I hung around the city last weekend but heading up to Barrie this weekend, so unfortunately I have to pass
Damn. Please have a mojito for me and let me know how they are in comparison to the Mambo Lounge :)

Well, Havana Feelings didn't have much of a feeling of Havana... The food was just ok, but nothing special, and the restaurant itself was kinda boring...
On the other hand, After we left there, we went down the street to the Mambo Lounge, and it was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere, GREAT Mojitos and cuban coffee. We spend hours talking with the Owner about Cuba, and it was incredible to get his insight into the Real Cuba.
Heather and John were the most wonderful hosts; Thanks Very Much!!! ; and that hot tub sure felt good after a very long day, (that seemed to grow into the wee hours of the morning)

jeez Gambitt, did you fly home, or use the transporter? :D
Eric, it was great having you here, you and Lauren are welcome any time. We'll have to do another "Mambo night" and get a few more people out for it.
Steve, good to see you again last night, hope you didn't have any troubles getting home. :D
-
