Transat shows interest in Signature Vacations

Tour operator Transat A.T. Inc. C would bid for Signature Vacations, should the Canadian unit be put up for sale by its British parent, First Choice Holidays PLC. C Jean-Marc Eustache, Transat's president and chief executive officer, said yesterday that he's awaiting word on whether Signature will be part of the assets being shopped by First Choice. Three weeks ago, First Choice said it is in discussions to sell certain holdings.
