I had the opportunity to head to Scotland for a week, and got a whirlwind tour of Glencoe, Fort William, Edinburg, Braemar and all places in between. Although we only had two days of sun it was gorgeous there, especially driving through the Highlands (I had to pick my jaw up from the floor of the car a few times when we were driving through the mountains :D ).
The only unfortunate part was that there were so few hours of daylight (the sun set at 3:30-3:45 in the afternoon!) that we were rushed getting to places so there wasn't a lot of time to really stop and enjoy the scenery along the way, although I was able to take pictures from the car as we went along, most of them didn't blur at all.
I also got a chance to catch up with our own Garin on Friday night in Sauchie as he was able to arrange to be in the area. We met up at a local pub there and had a few pints, unfortunately, SWMBO wasn't able to make it, we missed you Val!
We had two days of sun, the rest of the days were overcast, but the rain held off for the most part.

You had a busy few days while you was over here, the drive to Fort William is one of the best in the UK, it was good to see you and to meet Heathers family they are a great bunch of people

it certainly was busy, my head is still spinning. :D
I can only imagine how beautiful the trip to Fort William is in the summer when everything is in bloom.
Everyone there was great, I had a blast. Even tried Haggis at a Robbie Burns dinner. (Yes, I liked it! )
