One thing we never leave home without is a frisbee. They're great to play with but the main reason we started bringing one is they work perfectly as a drink tray on the beach. They hold those little plastic glasses perfectly (6 I believe). :w: We just give it to one of the workers when we go home.
-
I'm exactly the same. Frisbee's are so important because of there drink carrying ability.

Benedryl or other type of anti-histamine. Immodium, tums. Powdered Gatorade. Sunscreen for the lips (Blistex comes in spf 30). Fabric softener sheets or linen spray. Zip lock bags, different sizes. Clothes pins. Nylon ties.
-
-Post Cards from home
-Inexpensive air mattress
-Dimenhydrinate tablets (for upset stomach, motion sickness, Drinking way too much :moj: , etc...)
-Antihistamine (sp?...my wife is a Pharmacy Assistant, she knows the spelling, not me!)
-Butterfly closure strips (great for holding a deep cut together)
We also take post cards from here and use them to write our notes on to the people we are leaving gifts with.
We use the air mattress while down there and leave it for someone...staff's kids, or whomever.

I have a packing list for travelling on MS-Word if anyone is interested just send me you email address.
It is the one that Shine mentioned on another thread. It has been compiled over the years that we have travelled, and works for us.
-
Canucks,
please send the list to kevin_s@rogers.com if you don't mind. I have a relative that thinks I underpack when I go away, so I am looking to prove a point.
Thanks!!
mister. :cubadreamin:

Can you email me a copy, my husband thinks I overpack when going away, so I want to prove him wrong.

I have a document that is quite long. I got it from a poster called Carmel's Mom haven't seen her on Debbies in a long time. It is a word document that is about 6 pages long with packing list, links to info, all kinds of good stuff. If anyone is interested, provide me with your email address and I'll send you a copy. <img border="0" alt="[rainbow]" title="" src="graemlins/rainbow.gif" />

Blister bandaids :)
-
Spray on bandaid by Johnson & Johnson.
It's waterproof and the best part is you don't see anything.
-
Is it good for blisters?
Tracie, Milli and I had blisters. Even though we had comfortable shoes on, we walked from Sol to PRDO in a downpour and we all ended up with blisters.
-
It's perfect for blisters.
-
Great! Thanks.
-
This is great - why I ususally make a list each time I'll never figure out. It drives me crazy making the list and checking it twice, to ensure I have not forgotten anything.
This is the first time we are taking our twins so the lists with the kiddy stuff is great.
Thanks. :6:

Well, I've started to pack... Thanks all for the suggestions. Lots more to pack, but at least the dive gear is ready to go!
-
you mean there's more to pack other than the dive gear?

One IMPORTANT thing to check out before packing/leaving - that all your medication is not OUT DATED.
