:cuflag: :binkybaby: Thinking of going back to Cuba and noticed a few air cubana trips. Anyone ever flown it before? Comments? :puke: Did you do that after your flight or did you do this? :b:

I've never had the oppertunity to fly Cubana, but I know Mojitomiss_cuba has, and she loved it!!!
Right now, it's the only chance to get a Cristal, while still in Canadian airspace! :icon_thumright:

Steve has flown with them a few hundred times. so that's gotta tell you something.
Wendy loved them, and highly recommends them.
I've never had the chance to fly with them yet, but I will one day.
If you're getting a good deal, I wouldn't hesitate to grab it.

I went to bingo and was waiting for g52 for five thousand . :b: :cussing: :ROFL:didnt get it that would have paid for a few trips

So you're trying to out-win me at Bingo huh? I hope you do! Then maybe we'll see you on the beach in a couple of weeks! :b:
Anyway, I've flown Cubana many times and will be doing it again this trip. I like them a lot! It's been a couple of years sincec my last flight with them, so if there's any new info, I'll post it when we get back!

jammy, I flew cubana our first trip to cuba. This was before sunwing had their own planes and they used cubana. The luggage allowance (at the time anyway) was higher than the other charters at the time, don't know about now. There was more leg room on the plane than other charters as well.
And as Gambitt said, there's nothing like starting your vacation off with a cold cristal [beer]
The only thing I don't like about them now is the flight times leaving cuba. It wasn't like that when it was chartered through sunwing. I think for a 2-week trip it wouldn't be as bad leaving Cuba early but for a week, that sucks. Not so bad for varadero because the airport is close, but for destinations like Holguin, it's not so great because you're an hour busride to the airport

Hey gorgeous. Ya I know what you mean. And Im not a big fan of night flights. I saw one for 1 in the morning arriving at Montreat at 4am. what a stupid flight. *scared*

LOL.. people worrying about flight times just kills me!
Being a shift-worker, I'm so used to getting up and sleeping at odd times, Any flight that gets me to Cuba is a good one!
As long as they have that "killer" 24hr. bar, so I can get a cold Cristal at 5am when I arrive (after being up all night), I don't mind!
Ps. My neighbour up the street thought I was even More Insane than you all know I am, because I was out on the porch having a beer at 7am... not knowing of course, that I had just come off a 16 hr. shift that started at 3pm the day before!!!

Jammy...I have to say, it has been a few years since my last Cubana flight and this is what I expected: [plane]
However, what we got was this: :plane1:
The flight was great, the staff were pleasant, the luggage allowance was greater than other airlines and the seats in "cattle-class" have as much room as "club class" on other charters!
Flight times seem to be a bit wonky for Cubana, but I'm with Eric...if they get me there and back comfortably, who cares!
My only warning? The food is atrocious - bring a pannini!
