Hi all, just introducing ourselves, we arre Karen and Cliff from UK and we are off to cuba on 24th Jan and joined the site to read the posts and make sure we know all we may need to.
Only been on holiday outside of Europe twice, first time was Dom Rep and am hoping Cuba will be as good.

Cuba has some of the best beaches that you'll see,
where abouts are you heading to?

We sre going to Sol luna y mares in playa Esmerelda and plan to spend a couple of nights in Havana and I cant wait, I have read the posts and all very interesting.

Welcome to the site!  And as to the info, Okay... I'll start!

1) Head to the beach party early, if you like hot food.  Being outside things tended to cool really quickly.

and

2) If your favorite beverage, is not available on one side, check out the other hotel.  I found out on my 2nd last day, that they had real Canadian Whiskey at the Luna side, but not at the Mares where we were.

I'm not sure if they where going for 1 or 2 weeks, but they are down there now, and hopefully staying for another week  :icon_thumright:
