Trying to figure out where to go on a dive vacation - criteria are cheap, and nice weather in November. We stumbled upon Bali as an option. We can get most of the way there on frequent flyer points and it looks fairly cheap once there. The diving looks fantastic, but haven't gotten any first hand experience from anyone who's actually been there - just reviews from random website. So, has anyone been there?
Seems that i'm goign to be in Tanzania in October for work so looking at making a side trip to Zanzibar. Has anyone been diving there? I might try to arrange a couple dives if i can fit it into my schedule.

Just an update, Bali is out - seems it's the rainy season and not a good time to dive. However, Zanzibar is a go. I can only spare a few days of my busy itinerary for diving, but just booked at this place http://www.matemwebeach.com/ and aparently the diving is phenomenal. I leave next week for a month. I"ll update when i'm back.
Still trying to figure out my November trip - trying to see what exotic place I can get to on aeroplan points. right now i'm looking at Vietnam - actually looks like some good diving there.

If you're thinking about the South Pacific or S-E Asia, you should check the travel section of the Sydney Morning Herald.
