  Having been on these travel boards for a while now, when I see reviews like this by people I know have realistic expectations, I know that this resort is definitely not one I want to go to no matter what the price! Well, I should not say never as hopefully we will hear of large scale renovations being done soon!  Of course the weather did not help either.  I think I would prefer warm and rainy to cool and windy!  Anyways, all was not negative and I am glad that you were able to have a good week.
