Title: Is it posssible for me to remote into my fathers computer using xp?

if you're both using MSN Messenger, he can use thee remote assitance app to send you a request which should allow you to gain control of his pc.  Other wise you can use remote desktop, however if he's behind a firewall he'll have to open up some ports to allow the RDP protocol through.
