Flight Centre offering price protection
(http://www.travelpress.com/THUMB/phpThumb.php?src=/IMG/daily_news/FlightCentre.jpg&w=300&h=200)
Flight Centre is offering a new Airfare Price Protection initiative that allows its customers to book their international flights knowing that if the advertised airfare drops, Flight Centre will pay back the difference. Flight Centre customers simply book and pay in full for any international airfare (excluding the United States) during the month of May 2009, and if a cheaper advertised fare becomes available on the exact flight, day, and booking class, Flight Centre will refund the difference in the form of a travel voucher Jason Hartley, vice-president of marketing for Flight Centre, says “Our Airfare Price Protection means customers no longer have to worry about their airfare dropping after they have booked. We know that price is a key motivating factor when it comes to booking, and we want to give our customers the peace of mind that they will get protection against price fluctuations by booking with Flight Centre.” Flight Centre’s Airfare Price Protection applies to international airfares only (excluding the United States), is valid for travel until September 30, 2009, and is available through in-store bookings only. The international airfares must be advertised by Canadian registered businesses and web sites for travel originating in Canada. It excludes flights to the USA, and charter flights by Transat, Flyglobespan, Skyservice, and Canjet.

Okay, what's the catch? :laughing7:

I think that is the catch. Is there anyone else left?

There are plenty left  This is not for the flights down south :nono:
But people do fly other places

The biggest catch that I see is that it is only for a limited time! Book in May and fly by the end of September! If they really want to do something they should make this a permanent feature. :Iagree:
