Oh no, is this going to be another year of stranded passengers?
Is Globespan not connected with Air Transat? I'm sure that I used to book my Dad on globespan to come over here and he was on an Air Transat plane.

It does look a bit that way as another company goes to the wall, not sure about air transat and globespan maybe they had a agreement
Globespan was a late comer to the budget flight market operating mainly out of Scotland

I checked into it, and Flyglobespan was just leasing the planes from Transat.
Transat is very secure financially right now:
The transatlantic market remains a battleground, Transat chief executive officer Jean-Marc Eustache said during a conference call yesterday.
"Maybe new players will come," he said, after the Montreal-based tour operator announced that it posted a $61.8-million profit for the year ended Oct. 31, compared with a $49.4-million loss for the 2008 fiscal year. Transat shares jumped 13.7 per cent on the better-than-expected results.
