Title: Pla-Sea-Bo
Post by: FredTracie on February 22, 2010, 08:48:47 PM
Well we are officially boaters again! Our new (to us) boat does not have a name, but it is known by" Pla-Sea-Bo"!
After many trips to look at boats we had this Thundercraft 265 Temptation surveyed on Sunday and it passed with only a few issues that we can take care of and alot of elbow grease to clean it up!
It is larger than our last boat (2-footitis) and has 2 engines instead of 1!
Will post a pic when we can! Looking for a dinghy so we can tour a little more!

  Cheers

  Fred & Tracie

Congrats Captain Fred and First Mate Tracie!  :icon_thumright: You can't wait for the ice to be off the lakes now whereas we want it to stay for lots more weeks.  :laughing7:  It sounds like you have your work cut out for you but it will be worth all of the "blood, sweat, and tears" when she glides into the water.  Here's to many enjoyable hours spent on __, whatever clever name you come up with.  What about Sol Luna Mares II?! (too boring?)  lol    TC

Thanks for your comments!
This boat is much larger than our last so we will be able to go out on our lake and set the hook for the weekend and still enjoy lots of ammenities.
Yes Heather there is seating for 6+ and enough power to keep her up on plane. TC I don't think the name SLyM will cut it, so who knows.
The boat is 28' length over all with a 9 1/2' beam, so should be smooth sailing!
Our friends Nick and Jayne just purchased a new Honda 2000 Genny so Nick called and gave us his old honda 1000 Genny! Can we say blender drinks??

 Cheers

Fred, not only can I SAY blender drinks, I can MAKE blender drinks

Need a cruise director (just call me Julie McCoy) or a bartender (yes I'll be Isaac if you want)? Heck I'll even be Gopher

But seriously congrats on being boat owners again.
