Just wonder if the Breezes and Starfish Tralawny are the same resort, maybe renamed?
Is this the resort that you guys went to, Gambitt and Heather?
I'm seeing a good price for it this fall. If you did go to it, would you go back?
** Went back to check out the pricing again and just realized that it would require an over night on the way there and on the way back, not such a good price any longer. :crybaby2:

It is the same resort just renamed.
The first time we went it was called "Trelawny Beach Resort", and then the Breezes chain bought it and did a huge refit and renamed it Starfish Trelawny. Starfish is the lower end of the Breezes chain.
My daughter was married there and her whole theme was Starfish
Last year Breezes decided to change it up again and renamed all of their resorts, so now Trelawny is a "Breezes".
If you can get a good price, I would go.

If you are taking Any kids "or just those young at heart" this is THE place to go.
2 waterslides, rock climbing wall, trapeze lessons, trampoline lessons.. It has it all for kids.

No kids, just us. Won't be going there this fall, WJV thinks it's a good idea to have to spend the night in a hotel in Toronto on the flight to Jamaica and the flight home. Two hotel nights and the price is not that great! :crybaby2:
I'll keep my eye out for next spring.

See if you can book a direct flight home . (or at least a short stop over)
If you have to stay over a night in Toronto on the way down, I'm sure our friends will treat you to a "Cuba Night" in Toronto, which is Well worth the night's stay!
ps.. If you load a suitcase with E/C Lobsters for me , your hotel in Toronto would be on me!!!
pps. If We have ANY money left over after the Kitchen Reno, this hotel IS our target for our holiday this year. Maybe we could work it out to go together?

I'm keeping my eyes open. I can't remember if Air Canada is flying into Jamaica in November or not. I've save quite a few searches on itravel2000's price alert. If the price goes down to where I am happy, I am jumping on something. :laughing7:
Still have a little time to play with. My TA told me that the pricing this year seems to be a bit different than last fall. The price goes up then reduces a couple of weeks before the departure date. It is going to be a nail biting couple of weeks.
