General Travel / Good deal going to Panama
« Last post by Bebbie on September 09, 2014, 09:50:41 PM »
Wild Wednesday with Sunwing has a great deal going to Panama in October.  For the Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort.  The airport is only five or ten minutes away.  Such a convenience, no two hour travel time.

If we could, we'd jump on it.

General Travel / Sunny

It is with a heavy heart I let you know that my namesake has moved on to greener pastures.  It was difficult week and an agonizing decision but we let our beautiful Sunny go on Thursday evening.  We had 151/2 years of her love and companionship and our hearts are broken.

Hope that the price doesn't sky rocket.

We have been to Playa Pesquero twice and were happy with our stays.  PP is administered solely by Gaviota I believe.  I was checking some other resorts that they administer and the ratings are pretty good.  Hopefully this will be a good thing for the former Husa/former Barcelo.

Can not find much more information on what is happening.  Heard they are closed now, not opening until November.

Husa's FB page is gone too.

Diving / Re: Such a sad story.....although totally preventable.

I also got hooked in a swim through in Cozumel but I just unhooked and kept going.  I love the swim trough's and little caves.

I think the key is to dive to your own comfort level, and adjust for things you're not comfortable with.  I will swim through and John will swim over/around and we meet up on the other side.
