Mailing a parcel to Cuba
« on: February 07, 2006, 09:27:00 AM »
Hi
Has anyone ever mailed a box to Cuba??

If so,  any idea cost or how long it takes?

I would like to send out a box to a friend we made in Cuba.  I do know lots of people take items to resorts for others, but has anyone sent anything directly to there homes?

 Any advice would be great!!

 Thank you inadvance

While we was in Cuba a family we met received a  parcel (a video cassette) from the UK they were very suprised as most things don't get to there destination, I have been in touch with the people who sent the parcel and they say it was unusual that something they sent had arrived

Don't do it unless you want to help a postal workers family.  Less than half gets through and almost nothing unscathed.  I sent a book years ago with $20 hidden in the spine.  The family got the book but the $20 was gone.  I guess I was not the first person to try that trick.  :D
