Vacationing in Guardalavaca.
« on: February 07, 2006, 05:45:00 PM »
Hi everyone.  My question is about vacationing in Guardalavaca at any of the all-inclusive hotels.  We will be staying at the Occidental Grand Playa Turquesa and we would like to visit the other hotels.  Is it true that you would have to pay 40 CUC peso to visit and walk through any of the other all-inclusive hotels in the area?.  Thanks for any info you can give me about this.  I've never come across this anywhere in Cuba but I read this in one of the travel books on Holguin.

From the Turquesa, you are going to be taking a cab to any other hotel, as it is off on it's own.

There is a day use fee, for the hotels, but it varies in price, depending on which hotel.

If you are just looking for a tour, I would suggest asking at the reception desk, and tell them that you are checking it out for a future vacation plan, and I'm sure they will arrange a walk thru.
