New computer problem
« on: June 26, 2005, 03:55:00 PM »
we have just bought a new computer today as the USB ports on our old machines broke down, and we were quoted prices of £150 upwards to try and mend, and then there was no guareenteer of it being fixed, so we've bought a new onw, with a nice new flat screen - very strange to get used to.

Problem is everything else has loaded back on ok, the internet home page is fine except it is not the full page - F11 takes to full screen but that is just the text and we lose the toolbars - our old computer did this and Im sure I changed something in properties but for the love of money I can't remember how I did it.  The internet home page is about half the size it should be, all searched pages are the correct size - help anyone!!
ife is not measured by the breaths that we take, but by the things in life that take our breath away.

To get the pages to full size, without going to full screen (less toolbars) just open a window, and then drag the corners of the screen outwards, until it fills the screen.  Then click the X to clost the windows, and then reboot the computer...

This should save the preference to have full screen windows.
