Royal Suites
« on: February 16, 2007, 10:45:00 AM »
Hola

I am planning my honeymoon to Cuba at the Royal Suites. Had someone been on this resort? Does it worth the extra money to stay in there instead of the Spa section?

 Thanks for your help

Hola Hector, Welcome to paradise!    :D

We were there last September, and stayed in the Hideaway section as opposed to the suites.  However we did manage to get a tour of the suites section after chatting with our concierge.  The suites look absolutely gorgeous, each suite has a separate living area, and sleeping area, and a small kitchenette for your butler to cook your meals for you.  From what they told us, the butler stays with you all day long, drives you around in your golf cart to where you want to go.  There is also a small private Jacuzzi in each suite on the "back porch".  The pool is a bit smaller than at the Hideaway or Spa section, but there are only 24 bungalows (if memory serves) there with 2 suites per bungalow so the bigger pool is not really necessary. The main jacuzzi for that section of the hotel is right by the pool and is HUGE!  probably about 15' across.  it wasn't filled while we were there, but I would imagine it would be a great spot to park for a few hours.    :D

The beach is pure white sand, surrounded by blue/green clear water.

*sigh*  now I want to go back....

Hope that helps, if you have any more questions, please ask away, there's a few members on this board who have been there.

Hola Hector,

Welcome to 7 Days in Paradise.

I honestly cannot think of a better resort to spend your honeymoon than the Royal Hideaway Ensenachos.

Whether you book the suites or the main section depends on what your expectations are for your honeymoon.

The suites section will almost guarantee some very private time together and some serious pampering by your butler.

If you are staying in the suites you have full access to the entire resort so you don't miss out on anything but you gain the added pampering and privacy.

The decision is entirely yours to make, but all I can tell you is that when we go back we're going to the suites.     :D
