Hi Everyone,

I hope that everyone is enjoying the summer and diving like crazy. While we will be sending out our regular email update next week I wanted to let everyone know about three very worthy charity events that are coming up and that Dive Source is Proud to be involved with.

1.  DIVE IT’S an Emergency

This is a Fund Raising Event to raise money for the Rouge Valley Health System - Ajax-Pickering Hospital taking place on Sunday September 16th 2007 at the Ajax Community Centre. This is an exciting event where scuba divers are doing underwater marathon’s, there is a silent auction, door prizes and more. If you would like to get involved we have pledge forms here at Dive Source or you can also email the event organizer Mr. Paul Wood. promotions@ajaxscubaclub.on.ca . Don’t delay as this is coming up fast!


2. Gala of Hope Golf Tournament - The 2nd annual Swing For A Cure is being held at Newcastle Golf and Country Club on September 29th benefiting the Gala of Hope which is a local charity dedicated to Breast cancer awareness and fundraising for the R.S.McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre .

3. DIVE FOR A CURE ( Sunday Dec. 9/07):

Last year Dive Source organized our first annual Dive for a Cure event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society and it was a huge success and we raised several thousand dollars. This year we are doing it again and right now we are looking for volunteers as well as making people aware that it is happening again. This is a discover scuba program where people can try scuba diving with an instructor for a small fee and all the money goes to charity.
