Couple of new computer "glitches"- annoyances!

   I run Windows XP and have used  Windows Explorer 8 for some time.  I also have Mozilla Firefox but mainly used Explorer.  For the past few months in Windows when I use Facebook I cannot use the Back function.  I always have to return to the home page to change what I am looking at.  On Mozilla this doesn't happen.  For the past week I have not been able to access my email on Windows Live Messenger.  I click on the link and nothing happens.  Today I decided to find out why and found out that nothing happens when I click on most of the links on  the main menu.  I have no problem opening a chat window or sending files and pictures though.  I don't know if these two problems with WLM and Facebook are even related but am wondering if anyone using the two programs has experienced such problems??

I have been using Vista for 2 years now, and I have had little problems with face-book all the time using Explorer and FireFox.

Never had a problem with WLM though 

I love the PC/Mac commercials on TV, they sure make you think hay that's happened to me time and time again
