Oh no, is this going to be another year of stranded passengers?

Is Globespan not connected with Air Transat?  I'm sure that I used to book my Dad on globespan to come over here and he was on an Air Transat plane.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

It does look a bit that way as another company goes to the wall, not sure about air transat and globespan maybe they had a agreement

Globespan was a late comer to the budget flight market operating mainly out of Scotland

I checked into it, and Flyglobespan was just leasing the planes from Transat.

Transat is very secure financially right now:

The transatlantic market remains a battleground, Transat chief executive officer Jean-Marc Eustache said during a conference call yesterday.

"Maybe new players will come," he said, after the Montreal-based tour operator announced that it posted a $61.8-million profit for the year ended Oct. 31, compared with a $49.4-million loss for the 2008 fiscal year. Transat shares jumped 13.7 per cent on the better-than-expected results.
