Don't worry heart Im coming back for you in Oct
« on: March 15, 2006, 03:54:00 PM »
Hi all

Just got a really good deal with Thomas Cook to Sol Cayo Santa Maria, leaving Gatwick Uk 08/10 for two weeks, I know we are techincally still in the hurricane season, but it was such a good price £1321 per the two of us, including tourist cards, the only downside is flying Monarch airlines.

So Im being greedy this year - Egypt in Jun and Cuba in Oct06.

I am so pleased with this deal ,we had orginally wanted to go to the Iberostar Daiquari, but according to our travel agent the place is completely booked out with only a few single rooms left (Ken one for you!)

Don't worry heart im on my way back for you.  :)

I am really looking forward to it, Im trawling my way through webshots holiday photo's at the minute, looking forward to Egypt as well, but I did leave my heart in Cuba when we left the PP in Nov last year.

Congratulations Nancy.  That is an excellent price.

Avidmerrion and Wossa both stayed at the Sol whilst I was next door at the Melia last May.

No problem with Monarch - it was Excel with whom we had all the problems.

As Wendy says the beach is just amazing.  I rated the Pesquero beach 5/10 - CSM beach 9/10.

Funnily enough the food was superior at the Sol to the Melia.

Congrats on the deal Huskypup!!!

October is going to be great this year, I can feel it in my bones.     :D    No hurricanes at all.

If you keep getting deals like that from England, I may just have to start flying Canada to England to Cuba to England to Canada!!!

Great price!  Enjoy your trips!!!  :)

10 hours to go to Cuba -- no problem!  :)
Although I do prefer the 3.5 hours from Toronto - mind you we have a four hour drive to the airport so makes for a long travel time anyway.   If I flew to England first I could visit the folks before and after Cuba and keep everyone happy!!    :D   )
