More than a thousand personalities from 64 countries, will be visiting Cuba between November 28 and the first days of December, to celebrate Fidel Castro's 80th birthday previously scheduled for August 13 and postponed due to the Cuban president's health.
What's more I'll be there to witness this at first hand. Not in Havana, but at least in a largish town in Cuba. It will be interesting see what the local reaction is and how it's celebrated.
I'll report back on my return.
