Diving in Roatan
« on: July 02, 2005, 01:12:00 AM »
has anyone been diving there?

It's come up a few times in conversations, and it's caught my attention now.  From what I've heard it's a haven for divers.

johnny, I do believe that Gambitt has a trip planned there - not sure when though.
I'm sure all of the divers here will be looking forward to hearing from him...

yeah, he told me that the other day, and I can't wait to hear what he thinks of it.

I was just curious if anyone else has already been there.

From what I've heard, it's a tiny island off Honduras, there's a ferry that goes from Honduras or it does have a landing strip for direct flights.  The whole island is one big dive shop, it seems that diving is the main activity there.

Sounds like a divers paradise...    :D

Yup... We are definately working on getting it set up, so I'll fill everyone in, when I get back.

One of the main things to do in Roatan, is to dive with the sharks, so I guess that should be "if" I make it back.!
