Routers
« on: April 25, 2007, 07:55:00 AM »
Hey All.

Well, here's my problem:  We now have so many computers in my house, that I need to replace my router.

I'm going to replace the 4 port router, with an 8 port model, so I'm just wondering what brand of router everyone uses?

 Thanks!

for broadband use, I would recommend either the Linksys or Dlink, both have the wireless options, both are excellent quality, I've been using the Linksys at many of my clients lately and have been suitably impressed with them.  which ever one you get, before you go live with it, go to the manufacturers website, and make sure that you update the firmware to the latest revision.  It will save you grief in the long run.
