I realise that this will be of little importance to Canadians but I thought they may be interested to see what Thomas Cook Airlines are offering from May 2007, maybe in an effort to emulate First Choice (who knows).

These changes will not make any difference to leg room and if they continue to use Monarch and other airlines on the Cuba route I don't see these changes applying to those airlines.

Currently the Thomas Cook Airlines' Premium Cabin service is called Thomas Cook Plus.  From May 2007, Thomas Cook Airlines are enhancing their longhaul inflight service into three levels.  Thomas Cook Plus will become TC Premium, then there will be a new class called TC TravellerPLUS, followed by the old economy class now called TC Traveller.

You can check out what's on offer by clicking on the following links:

 TC Traveller

It now appears that PLUS customers will have use of an executive lounge before departing the UK airport, plus 25 kilos luggage allowance, dedicated check-in and free pre-bookable seats.  Other benefits include upgraded menu and free bottle of wine with your main meal.  Although seated in the economy cabin, for £40 extra per person, this option may be worth considering.
