I have taken my teenaged boys with me twice and had the same results. The older one pretty much spent all day, every day in the room. He claimed it was too hot for him to come out except to eat and get drinks. The younger one stayed on the beach with me all day long even though I told him I would be fine. I met some wonderful women on my second trip with them so the younger one felt freer to go explore the resort. By day 5 the older one was ready to leave and on day 7 I literally pulled the youngest one out of the pool 10 minutes before the bus was due to arrive. I can't get hubby to go anywhere at all so maybe in the future I should just take #2 son and go away for two weeks.
