Cuban Coastline - Havana to Varadero
« on: April 28, 2005, 09:11:00 PM »
Hey Folks:

Just wanted to test out this forum's abilities with posting images. So here is a space view of the Cuban coastline from Havana in the West (left) to Varadero in the East (right) which I thought you might enjoy.

Just have to keep playing with those photos no matter which forum I'm on.

Wow, quite a shot Steve. As always, thank you for sharing your pics.  Will you be bringing any photos to CN2 - I have looked at your site, and your pictures are awesome, so wondered if you were bringing any along?

Well it's still in the planning stages, but I hope to get a loan of a digital projector, bring my laptop along and run some photos for you all to see. Maybe around 50 or 60 or my favorites. All depends on getting the projector and finding a way to make it all work.

Also we're planning to run a little presentation (Powerpoint) from the NJT folks but that's only 10 minutes or less.

 See you all there.

Thanks for the offer Kimber. I sent you a PM with details.

 Hey Gambitt.
Looks like we both go to the same websites. Wouldn't it be great if we could build up a library of detailed images, with all the individual resorts located like you have done. Would require some work, but would sure help on the forums. At the highest resolutions possible.
I'll talk to you at the Cuba Night about the possibilities.

Yes, I'd love to see a web page with that stuff in it, I really enjoyed seeing the satellite photo of the Holguin area earlier in the year with all the resorts on it.

Do it, no pay but lots of hearty "You're doing a great job on it!" from everyone!
