Live from PCV
« on: May 24, 2005, 05:02:00 PM »
Hola everyone.
Having a blast at the PCV  :)
Met up with Garin and SWMBO today on the Blau's beach. Had a couple of pina colada's with them (yes the blau ran out of mint)  :)  I can't seem to help myself. whew, I'm getting hot and sweaty just thinking about them  :)

Well I'm off to the beach bar for a mojito (mr b, check the mojito thread: I won't be beating your record)  :(

15 minutes left, so I'll check back later

Great to hear from you Wendy, have been wondering how you were getting on.   Sorry about the mint though at the Blau, but you should be OK for it at the PCV.    Have you booked the Japanese restaurant yet?

Off to read the Mojito thread now.

Well it's quiet here tonight!!!

Bet it's a lot livelier down at the PCV with Wendy and the BIT.

Looks like Wendy is a beach person and the BIT is a pool person in the daytime.

Wonder what the situation is right now?

Wendy is no doubt drinking Mai Tai's at the bar, whilst the BIT is no doubt waiting for the disco to kick in.

Next door at the Blau no doubt Garin and SWMBO are quietly enjoying their evening meal.

I wonder!!! Wouldn't be great to be a fly on the wall!!

Hey Wendy,
Great to hear from you. Too bad about the mint situation, however, now that I have met you, I am sure there is another beveridge or two that you can think of instead!!!! LOL.
Hope both you and the BIT are having a great time, and that you are taking lots of eye candy pics for us, sitting here at home with nothing much to look at, well, at least no hot, handsome cuban men!
 Kimber
PS enjoy the rest of your week!

Hola everyone.
Just popping in for a quick second.
The catamaran and dolphin tour was great. Got some great pics
Mr. B, I have hardly had any mojitos at the swim up bar but believe it or not, I'm already famous there - me and my insulated mug  :)

Gambitt: we're doing the beginner dive tomorrow. Kristen has a new passion - she wants to get her scuba certification - I've created a monster, lol

Well the BIT experienced her first hangover the other morning. She was at the disco with a couple of other young ladies and they drank a wee bit too much. LOL

Well I have to get back to ogling the beach boys and taking eye candy pics now.

This is my last time on - so I'll post sunday when I get back

 Cheers!!

That's just exactly how it happened to me!   :)   One dive at an AI resort, and I was hooked.  Guess I'll just have to set you up with Pepi at my dive shop when you get home!

mojitomiss_cuba and the BIT will be enjoying their final meal at the PCV very shortly.    Sounds like they both had a good time - I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall to see Mum's reaction when the BIT arrived back from the disco slightly the worse for wear through alcohol.

Maybe Wendy will tell all on her return home.  There should be a good few interesting stories to tell with regard to mojitomiss's first Cuban vacation!!

Well the day has finally dawned when Bulldog and Wendy will be arriving home.

Anyone any idea of what time to expect them back?   I need to go the shops and mow my lawns this afternoon, provided it stays fine, and I wouldn't want to miss their arrival home.

Just out of interest I can only recall three people on this forum posting 'live' and all three have been staying on the Pesquero beach at Holguin.

Firstly flopnfly from the Playa Pesquero, then Garin from the Blau Costa Verde, then mojiotomiss_cuba from the Playa Costa Verde.

Wendy was on the same flight time as we were.
We walked in the house at about 4:30 pm.  I imagine that she will be the same, assuming that there are no delays.

Bulldog left on an afternoon flight so I'm assuming that he won't be home until late tonight.  I could be wrong here though.

We should have a welcome home party for them.     :6:

As for the live reports, I think 3 live reports is pretty good considering that we've only been open for one month.

I found that reporting live was a great way to keep track of what we had done and were planning on doing.  I also keep a daily journal, but for those that don't you will always have your live posts to refer to when writing your review.

I just wish that I had a better internet connection at the PP.  It was too slow.
