They are flying Westjet and I think the flight leaves Santa Clara at 3.30pm.   Heather provided a link last week to Toronto airport as we spent the night awaiting news of your flight arrival:

 Toronto Flight Arrivals

However I can't seem to find this flight.  The nearest one is Camaguey arriving at 1732 but I can't think that's the one.

 Anyone any ideas?

There is a flight from Santa Clara but it is much later.

 Could this be it?

The only other one I see is Camaguey at 17:32

I'll bet that's the one Heather.   Thinking back now I remember it was 3.30pm in the afternoon when I saw Millybess' sister and husband off at the MCSM.   It was 3.30pm pick up for a 7.30pm flight, so 11.35pm would be the correct time for their arrival.

BTW: Milly's sister said in an email to me 'Our flight home was actually quite perfect.  We had the best flight crew ever.  They kept us laughing all the way home', so that sound good for F & T and Sunluvr.

Well expect we'll all be in bed by the time F & T arrive home and it will no doubt be tomorrow night before they surface on the internet.

WELCOME BACK YOU TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't imagine anyone being more excited than I am to hear it ALL!!  :D    :D

I believe their schedule would be the exact same as mine:  we depart YYZ at 3:30,  arrive Santa Clara 8:00 and the return flight from Cuba departs Santa Clara at 8:00.  If all runs smoothly, they should arrive at YYZ around 11:30 tonight.  I think we'll have to wait till Sunday or Monday to hear from them, though.  I imagine they'll stay over in the city tonight and make the trek home tomorrow.

Thanks sunluvr for confirming the flights times for both you and F & T.

So Heather was right that 11.35 pm flight is the one.

BTW: Sunluvr that airport at Santa Clara is tiny - as is the area where your luggage comes down a chute type of arrangement - no carousel here I'm afraid.   I would make sure you can identify your luggage OK as they stack it on the floor as it comes doen the chute so if you are at the back of the line coming through immigration your luggage may be anywhere on the floor in the room, or still to be unloaded.

All the buses will leave together as you will have a police motor cycle escort as far as the causeway and you will be 'checked' into the hotel whilst you are on the bus. ie: you'll get your Hotel passport, wristband and keycard plus have a registration card to fill in and hand in to your rep. all on the bus.

Bellagio...you ARE too kind! Thanks for the tidbits...I have big red bows on the handles of my luggage, as well as Red & White canada flag nametags...hopefully they'll be easily detected!

I thought the police escort was just for me  :(

Welcome back Fred and Tracie.  Great of you to post so soon after your arrival.    You can see we were all thinking about you whilst you were away.

So you liked the beach then, I take it?   Yes Sunluvr is in for a real treat.  Look forward to hearing all about it when you have recovered.

Hope that you managed to distribute your NJT medicines without any problem.  Where did you take them to was it Remedios or Santa Clara?

Really looking forward to hearing all your views on the resort and about the food.

Well here we are half asleep and posting some info? Go figure, Anyway after barely making it through a nasty storm on our arrival into Santa Clara (flight attendants crawling up the isle to their seats as the plane dropped like a stone)We made the runway!!!Anyway the meds got delivered and will be sending NJT a full report with new contact info as we met with the deputy director for medical services for the Province of Santa Clara. The doctor for the resort Jorge took us and spent the day with us in Santa Clara. He is such an interesting man as he was a member of the Cuban medical team that flew to Bande Ache 2 weeks after the Tsunami! We then went for platters of lobster at a palladar and toured the city and peso stores.Sunluver all you need to take to this resort are bathing suits (and they are optional) and a few things to wear at night! You could easily pack in just a carry on!We will e-mail or you can phone as we have a favour to ask if you could take a very light item to the doctor ? And just ask for your MAS card when you arrive and they will give you one which will allow you late (3pm)checkout!!! More info later! Bellagio.... Food was OK...(No real complaints)

    Cheers.F&T

Welcome back F & T.

Wow, the flight in sounds interesting.

Thanks Fred for that update.   Your flight certainly doesn't sound too clever either.   Flights are certainly making the headlines these days!!!

Your NJT experience sounds excellent and must have been really rewarding for you both as well as for the doctor and his team.

Look forward to more info later and pleased that you found the food to be OK - that was my only concern really about the resort.   When you post next I'd be interested to know what bungalow you were in and whether you were top floor or not.

 So many questions to ask?
