We're going, we're going!

Booked today, was seriously considering Casa Marina Beach in DR, but at last minute changed my mind and we are now booked into BCV for Jan 2-16th! Woohoo!

Helpful tips, hints, appreciated!

Where exactly is the BCV?
Jan. seems so far away, but the months will go so quickly, you'll be packing in no time.

When Garin and SWMBO come back from Portugal they'll be able to fill you in on everything you need to know. They had a great time there in May.

It was formerly known as the Maritim Costa Verde, right beside the Playa Costa Verde in Holguin!

Congratulations Debmich--Isn't it a great feeling to be booked and have all that behind you. I was interested in that resort (among the many ;) ) I like the size and it sounds like a great place to spend two whole weeks! (I just reread your post and saw your dates)

Well I will admit it is a relief even though I usually try to hold on till the last minute for some good savings!
But as we are traveling with another family, and their teenagers needed to be gone in early January to not have missed too much school we decided to go ahead and book and also because I had two coupons from Signature that had to be used 45 days in advance or they were not good. So if the price differs by 100 by the time we go, I will not be too upset! LOL

So any takers?

As I said on Lady B's thread, I'll be trying to make it, but if the BCV is not available I'll have to try the PCV or the PP so there are several options open to me.

It would be great to have yet another Holguin reunion. Trust me I'll be working on it as soon as I get the time.

:) Debmich: Sounds like you will have a great time and if Bellagio books that will be icing on the cake! I would love to go to Holquin in November or January but we don't have direct flight vacation packages out of the Maritimes until February and ending in May. :( :cubadreamin:

I would love to join you, but it all depends on how our year end schedule goes at work. Typically I cannot take vacation during the first 2 weeks of the month.
