The Ultimate Guardalavaca Map
« on: September 21, 2005, 03:02:00 AM »
With some help from Bellagio, I've come up with an interesting "map" of the entire Gulardalavaca area, which might help those travelling here, to know what is near to what?

    -

The hotels are listed in White
 Beaches are listed in Yellow
And Points of interest are in Blue

Comments and suggestions are most welcome!

Thanks Gambitt and bellagio.  This is very useful.  I'm sure I'll refer to it often.   :)

Also, no doubt Messybill will be happy that we're vacationing in the spot with the best diving in Cuba.  ;)

thanks for the map Gambitt.

I just want to point out that the Playa Pesquero looks like it's miles away from the PCV and BCV on the map, but that whole beach area is really only a 10 minute walk from end to end.

Thanks guys, that really is a good map! I have been actually trying to download the coast line from a satelite image and have not been able to actually pinpoint the area yet, but I would not have known all the names.  You guys are great!

Okay, here's the next project.

This one is a lot harder, having not been there, and the number of hotels in a small area:

Great map Gambitt.

Next door to Beaches is the new Blau Varadero, and next door to that is the Sandals Royal Hicacos.

Gambitt, hopefully people will help you update this one. So many hotels have changed names, ie the LTI became the Maritim Varadero and now it's the Playa Almeda Varadero.

Everyone help out Eric with this one  :)  it will help all of us too  :)

The Grand Lido is now the Sandals Princessa Del Mar.

Gambitt, is this map available somewhere else? The link doesn't seem to be working anymore.  Thanks.
