Back from Sol Cayo Guillermo
« on: October 31, 2005, 07:45:00 AM »
Hello all! I have posted a few things yesterday but didn't get around to posting how our trip was.

Our trip to SCG was again, great! For those who don't know, this was our 3rd trip to the SCG. I will post a review, however it will be a smaller review as I don't think there's much I can add to my last 2 reviews.

In the mean time...We flew done Oct. 22nd. Hurricane Wilma was a complete non-issue for our flight and pretty much a non-issue for our vacation. The flight was good. We flew AC and had executive class both ways...what a great option...2 seats per row and lots of leg room. I'm not sure exactly how we got exec-class but we loved it!

Customs was perfect. No problems getting through as we were one of the first ones through. We then waited for about 20 mins for every one else to get through customs.

We arrived at the hotel about 45mins later and we got to see many of our friends in the fist few ours of being there. Some of our friends are away at school at this time of year, so we didn't get to see everyone.

Weather was fairly good but after 3 past years of perfect weather we kind of thought we get some so-so weather and we did. The first few days were great...sunny, hot, high in high 30's (90's). The mid to end of week saw more clouds and less sun but we did manage to get a decent tan and the temperature was still warm and definitely better than being here.

All-in-all we had another great stay at the SCG and now look forward to our 4th trip, which will hopefully be next November!

For ANYONE who has questions about the Sol Cayo Guillermo, please feel free to post, or PM, or even email me. We love this resort and it's staff and will do our best to promote it.

I will write my somewhat more detailed review in the next few days. In the mean time...you can see my past review in the review section

Welcome back Gef

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
