Yup. gotta love that last minute stuff. We need to see if the flights are still available. I was checking the weather for the sixth of January and it doesnt look that hot. hmmm I wonder now.

Zephie & I had planned on Cayo Largo - last minute for the 6th - but he's such a romantic, now he says he wants to go back to Villa Cuba. It's where we got married...
I saw that last minute deal too! $597. 'ya can't beat that!
So I'll keep you posted and we'll have to meet up on the 9th floor for one of those Pina Colada's! :33:

My wife is gonna call and try and get the flight today :) Man I loved that bar on the 9th floor. The only thing was that elevator. It scared the hell out of me :o lol It was the screeching grinding sounds it made going down to the main floor . So ya cross your fingers . IT would be the 6th of January and coming back on the 13th.

Hello Jammy,

You guys in the east get most of the last minute travel "breaks".
The cost of your holiday covered our Transat Club seats (we needed them ..tall and a seven hour flight from Edmonton via Calgary)this past November.
Anyway after this mumbling and grumbling ..give Carlos (the lobby bartender) a big "hug" from his friends in Alberta..on the other hand maybe just a "big hello" (Carlos is a husky fellow).

Great "epiphany" Jammy! I think we'll be able to celebrate the real one in Cuba!
Anyway, was at the TA this afternoon and after a bit of wrangling, got them to sort out a price for us.
You see, Zephie is so huge, he can't sit in a normal seat on Air Transat, so we MUST have Club Class, but I can't book that on-line! And the weirdo part of our trip is that we'll be coming back with WestJet - they don't have a Club Class! However, I hear great things about their seats!
Anyway, I'll be going back in the morning to actually book. I wanted to give our TA the time to make sure that this was right!
I'll let you know when I'm all set.
Perhaps by then, BJ will have booked too!

I just checked and we can't even get a flight out of Halifax on January 6th. So you will have to go without us....but I'm sure you will have fun anyway...I'll just have to wait until April.
