 this is aimed at you. what was the cost to do your advanced in ontario. i was just checking one of the local dive shop web sites [  diveshopscuba.com ] and they listed it as $139 plus tax.  everytime we think about it, they cannot give us a schedule far enough in advance for the wife to book time off on the weekends to do it. i am trying to justify paying $290 US to do it in warm water.

If I remember right, it was about $199.
 
 That includes all the lessons, and 3 charter dives down in Brocville.
 
 $139 seems like a really good price!
