Hi Guys,

I just wanted to let you know that we'll be going to Bohemia Havana tonight for dinner and drinks.
 We'll be there around 7.

If you're in the area and interested, stop by for a drink and say hiya.

If there is anything left, I might think about it.

Zoe is very particular about what she eats, she really prefers cookies to anything else.    :D

I expect Heather and John are dining at the Bohemia Havana right now, maybe even Steve YYZ has joined them.

I hope they all have a wonderful evening together and look forward to a confirmed CN3 date being published tomorrow.

Well everyone must have had a good time as no one came on to post last night.

Wonder if they were suffering the after effects of too many Cristals or the like!!!

Once again Alfredo has outdone himself.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Bohemia Havana.

From the moment you step in the door you are welcomed, amazed, and transported back to lovely Cuba.

The walls are covered in bright and colorful murals of Cuban scenes.  Photo's of Havana hang on the walls, and Cuban music is playing in the background.

The tables are elegantly set, and everything sparkles.  Everyone is singing as they work, and they work hard. Constantly topping up water glasses, delivering mojito's or just checking to see if everything is ok.  They never pass your table without at least a smile and a song.

This was what I had for dinner.
 -----------------------------------------------
"Popurrí", of our ‘tapas’ of the day tostones, yuca, maduros, croquetas, breaded shrimps, vaca frita, chicharrones.

Pork Sirloin Steak in Honey Garlic Wine with Almonds ……Mores and Christians Rice
--Yuca con Mojo" Steamed Casava with Garlic and Lime Juice
 --Season Salad

I finished the night off with an excellent mojito.
 --------------------------------------------------

We felt like we were on vacation in Cuba the moment we stepped through the door.  Except here, there is no doubt that the food is 5 star *****.

I highly recommend that you visit Bohemia Havana, it's a little Taste of Cuba in the heart of Toronto.

OMG......

Well I met Heather and John and we had a great time. I didn't eat dinner, but just stopped by for some Cristals and to socialize with everybody.

Great evening, and after Heather and John left, I stayed to chat with Alfredo and Tefy.
Alfredo and I locked the doors up to the restaurant around 12:30 a.m. or so, then sat and started on the Bottle of Havana Club. I finally left at 3:00 a.m.   :duh:    :duh:

 What a great evening.

I'm tempted to go back to Bohemia Havana this weekend again.

The food, the service and the atmosphere is wonderful.  I tried one of their mojitos last week, and I quite enjoyed it.  It didn't taste a bit like mouthwash.  Unlike the ones I tried at the resorts.

The only problem with Tefy's mojito's is that they go down way too easy.

Anybody else up for a mojito at Bohemia this weekend?

 Heather
