As promised here is a selection of photos and short videos of the wonderful festival of Romerias de Mayo in Holguin city that I felt privileged to witness on Wednesday 3rd May.
I didn't shoot the videos so that's why hands suddenly appear in front of the lens on some of them, but I hope if you have the patience to wait for them to load up they will give you some idea of the fantastic atmosphere of the occasion.
Unfortunately we didn't continue on to to the Hill of the Cross where I wanted to go, but I was outvoted and we stayed in the main Calixto Garcia Park.
