Site is slow today

Anyone else notice that the pages are slower to load up today.   I'm on an 8MB connection and pages on other sites are loading up instantaneously, not so on 7 Days.
 
 Interesting to hear from Johnny if there is any reason for this.

It's faster for me today.  It was slow on the weekend though.  :confused:

nothing that I've noticed on our end that would be causing a slowdown, but I have noticed that access from anywhere in the city is kinda "pokey" today, something must be up.

Just ran a speed test and the download speed is 6518 kbps and the upload speed 508 kbps.

a speed test for a site must be initiated from the site you wish to test, otherwise the results can be skewed, not to mention any firewalling or Itrusion Prevention/Detection Systems in place that will skew the results.  
 
 Don't put too much faith in the "speed tests".  There are *many* variables that they don't account for.

I'm on a 100mb conection and I do notice that from time to time over the last 2-3 weeks it get slow   :)
