Just remembered something I feel I should warn people about. Beware if you are cashing travellers cheques at reception. I cashed sterling travellers cheques and was surprised to not receive a receipt/be shown the calculation on a calculator. She didn't even quote how much she was giving me which is what makes me very suspicious that this wasn't an actual error but a well rehearsed con. As I took the money I asked how much she had given me and doing a very rough calculation realised I had got the worlds worst exchange rate (the exchange rates are really poor anyway). I told her I had cashed £40 sterling to which she replied oh I thought they were in US $. She then did the calculation again, this time on a calculator in full view of me - not the one used previously which was hidden out of view. Be warned.
This is my only complaint about the hotel. Its not really a complaint as its one individual member of staff and could have been a genuine mistake but it all seemed a little too well rehearsed.
