Renovations at Sandals in Jamaica
« on: August 23, 2005, 04:53:00 PM »
Sandals is closing some of it's resorts for renovations.  This will mean that anyone booked into these resorts will be bumped to another Sandals or Beaches.

 -----------------------

In our continuing quest to upgrade our product we will be undergoing a refurbishment project at the following resorts Sandals Inn, Negril Gardens and Beaches Sandy Bay.

So as not to inconvenience our guest's holiday we will be closing these hotels from September 5, 2005. Beaches Sandy Bay will reopen on October 5, 2005 and Sandals Inn and Negril Gardens will reopen on December 18, 2005.

All guests currently booked within these dates, will automatically be upgraded at a Sandals or Beaches Resort.

 ----------------------------------------
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

oh thank god it's not sunluvrs resort. This would just be too much for the poor girl to handle. This trip is what she's living for right now  :)

There's nothing I'd like better than to be packing up to go camping on the east coast (as long as I didn't have to sleep on the ground   :D , as I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to earwigs and stuff).

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy sunluvr.  I probably missed it, but when are you leaving?

Yes thank god it's not her resort, but keep in mind that all these people being bumped will have to go somewhere.

Hopefully they'll send them all to the Sandals in Montego Bay and not Ochi

Wendy...you're such a doll, being so empathetic to my woes and concerned for my well being   :)

Our resort underwent significant renovations over the past year.  I understand it has just been completed in the last month...we're arriving just in time!  But Heather raises a good point, they're gonna have to ship them all somewhere.  I would think the Sandals Inn guests would be bumped to another in Mo'bay and Negril Gardens most likely will be bumped to a Beaches in Negril...sound familiar Heather??    ;)    The Beaches guests can only be re-routed to another Beaches.  Sandals Ochi is usually pretty full to capacity, but ya know what? I really don't care....I"M GOING TO JAMAICA... nothing else matters at all  :b:
y name is Sunluvr and I am a Jamaicaphile.....IRIEMON!
